Scarecrows and Seacrows

Overton House did really well in the local Cottingham Scarecrow competition with their wonderful scarecrow of Cruella De Ville. They came second with an amazing 60 plus votes. The scarecrow which could be seen from the public footpath in front of Overton house was of Cruella surrounded by many dalmatians. Lola a dalmatian that lives near Overton House was curious to see all the new additions.

Meanwhile at Red House in Bridlington everyone is busy working on their mermaid ‘seacrow’ for Bridlingtons seacrow trail. They have been making the head out of papier mache and have even had a lobster pot donated by the harbour commissioner. We look forward to seeing it when it is completed!
