STAFF AT THE HICA GROUP RECEIVE LONG SERVICE AWARDS FOR THEIR CONTINUED CONTRIBUTION TO CARE.

Hica - Picture 1 - 25 years.jpgA reception was held for 7 members of the HICA workforce which included Support Workers Ruth Train, Fe Tasker, Joan Johnson, Home Manager Margaret Walker, Deputy Manager Dianne Pennington, Finance Manager Yvonne Aitken and Domestic worker Chrissy Farrell who have reached the 25 years milestone with the company and were praised for their hard work and dedication. Food Service Coordinator Josephine Davis has also reached this milestone but was unfortunately unable to attend the event.

Heather Joy, Regional Director for the East, commented: “The contribution that our team has made to the care sector has been incredible and we’re delighted that their hard work has been recognised.

“I am so proud to be working with such a dedicated and loyal team of people.”

Earlier this month, Home Manager Leah Davies was also awarded with a long service award to honour her 25 years of service.

HICA Group Chief Executive Terry Peel, who presented the employees with a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne and a gift voucher, added: “These awards to our colleagues are a clear demonstration of their commitment and dedication to the residents. 25 years is an incredible milestone and we are delighted to able to reward and celebrate this achievement.”

Deputy Manager Dianne said: “I can’t believe that it is 25 years since I started working for Hica as a care worker; I still love my work and in helping others. I’m surrounded by great people, who dedicate themselves to caring for other people and this continues to motivate and spur me on.
