The Grange provides an all-inclusive lifestyle for people who can live independently, but also require some support. The Grange will be open to local people, organisations and charities on Wednesday February 22, from 2-4pm.

Senior management at The Grange have also announced a new short-stay care package, which will allow visitors to stay at The Grange for four weeks or more. Individuals or couples can choose from a range of options including a one bedroom or studio apartment, complete with kitchen, bathroom suite and furniture.

Phil Hill, director at Buckshaw Retirement Village said: “The short-stay package is a fantastic opportunity for an individual or couple to visit The Grange for a luxury break, or as a trial before committing to stay long-term.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming the community to The Grange and showcasing our excellent facilities. We are proud of the environment we have created and of the family we have built at The Grange.

“The purpose of The Grange is to allow older people to maintain their independence, enjoy a healthy and happy lifestyle in a fantastic and supportive environment. Our highly dedicated team of experienced chefs, activity and wellness coordinators, management and domestic staff provide an unrivalled quality of life for the people who live here.”

Those who need additional care can choose an extra package to best meet their needs following a full professional assessment. Within the rental fee tenants can also enjoy a specialist gym area, lounge, restaurant with table service, bowling green, sensory gardens and unlimited activities of their choice.
