Full & Part Time Registered Nurse - Buckshaw Retirement Village, Chorley

Salary £16.50 - £18.00 per hour , Hours Full & Part time positions available

Buckshaw Retirement Village is a not for profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the individuals who we support.

We are looking to expand our team of committed and caring Registered Nurses based at The Lodge.

The Lodge is our award-winning specialist Nursing with Care Home designed to support people living with dementia. Our innovative, self-contained market square is at the heart of The Lodge to support people to remain engaged and connected.

The Role:

You should be a registered nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) who can lead a team of care staff to provide high standards of care to our residents, ensuring that their dignity and safety is maintained whilst promoting and encouraging independence and individual choice.

The ability to manage a varied workload and to prioritise effectively under pressure is essential, as is the ability to undertake appropriate aspects of nursing care as required.

You should have knowledge of dementia care along with an understanding of caring for people who can exhibit behaviours which challenge. Experience of working within a residential setting is advantageous, as is experience in assessing resident’s care needs and evaluating care plans.
