Mobile Support Workers (no travel required) - Buckshaw Retirement Village
Salary £8.85 per hour , Hours 30 hours per week
Please note this role requires being able to provide cover for a variety of shifts, including night shifts.
Buckshaw Retirement Village is a not for profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the individuals who we support. The village offers options for ownership and rental in an attractive and well-appointed location. The site also houses our purpose-built, specialist dementia nursing home which has a range of on-site facilities and regular activities.
We are currently looking for caring and committed people to join our team providing floating care and support to residents across the retirement village. These positions are to work across the site as required and are for 30 hours per week, covering both day and night shifts as required.
As a Mobile Support Worker, you would be working across the site providing care and support to help meet our service users’ needs whilst also promoting and encouraging their independence.
You will be assisting our residents with personal care and daily living tasks, as well as providing psychological care and helping them to utilise our wide range of on-site facilities and activities.
What we are looking for:
You should have previous experience working in a care environment along with a level 2 care qualification. Experience working within both home care and residential settings is particularly advantageous.
You will need to adapt quickly and be comfortable working in a variety of environments as shifts can take place across the site. Flexibility is essential as these roles will cover a variety of early morning, day, evening and overnight shifts across a 7-day period.
