Day care

hica care homes offer a day care service to provide a break for the unpaid carer and a change of routine for the individual.  Booked as a full day, the service normally starts after breakfast and ends after tea.  An individual care and support plan will be developed to focus on the desired outcomes of the day care service.

With full access to the communal facilities, all activities, the support of staff, the companionship of other service users and a menu choice at mealtimes, day care can be a valuable and rewarding service for the older person.
