Kirkgate House, Bridlington
Kirkgate House supports up to 28 individuals aged 18 and over with a learning disability and associated care and support needs. Kirkgate compromises of 5 individual living areas each with its own lounge, kitchen and dining areas supporting adults with learning disabilities with long term residential support. We have a Garden Room which enables people to socialise with their house mates. The home has 2 apartments for people requiring minimal support yet still needing the feeling of security and support a care home can offer.

We are delighted to report that Kirkgate House have achieved ‘Outstanding’ in Responsive in their latest CQC inspection. The home, located in Bridlington, specialises caring for people living with a learning disability. Julie Wood, manager of Kirkgate House, said “We’re all thrilled, it is an achievement for all of us. Everybody who works at Kirkgate plays a major part in the services we provide and our constant strive for continuous improvement is embedded into our culture and value system. We are all delighted the CQC inspectors could see how our work with residents ensures they can live their life to the full.”
